Mark Lodmill, MAI, of CBRE Group, Inc, has been promoted to Director with Valuation & Advisory Services. Celebrating his 20-year anniversary with CBRE this past January, Mr. Lodmill has been the top producer for CBRE Valuation & Advisory Services in Denver for the past seven consecutive years and has ranked in the top 10 percent of producers nationally the past two years. In addition to providing appraisals, his services include consultations, reviews, market studies, rent analysis, feasibility studies and litigation support.
Saunders Construction is proud to announce the promotion of Jim Pagano to manager of Express Services and the addition of Zella Goettsch as manager of Healthcare Services. Both roles support the organization’s commitment to these specialized markets through strategic growth. “Saunders continually evaluates the best approach to advance its strategic initiatives, and in this case, it meant creating roles to support our key markets,” said Ryan Balakas, vice president of operations at Saunders Construction. “We want our clients to have the best experience when they work with Saunders, and Goettsch and Pagano both bring the passion and knowledge to deliver that experience.” In his new role, Pagano’s main responsibilities include oversight of current Express Services projects, business development and coordination of project procurement. With over 30 years of industry experience, Pagano provides expertise to help plan and execute mission critical renovations, tenant improvements and strategically sized ground-up construction projects. Prior to this role, Pagano held the position of project manager at Saunders. Goettsch, who brings 13 years’ experience, is responsible for the oversight and management of Healthcare Services projects, establishing baseline reporting and training, advancing client relationships and defining a more strategic approach to procuring and planning projects within the healthcare market.
Sara Nakon, CAE, recently joined the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Colorado in the new position of programs director. She is responsible for overseeing planning, development, and execution of all education activities and other events for the association. With 15 years of experience working in association management for both national and state components, Nakon most recently served as director of events and chapter relations at Colorado Restaurant Association. Nakon’s experience in meeting planning, customer service and team leadership will serve ACEC Colorado’s more than 35 annual programs and events. Nakon is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and a graduate of the American Society of Association Executives Leadership Academy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio). An active volunteer, she currently serves on the membership committee of the Colorado Society of Association Executives.
ELEMENTS, a full-service workplace interior provider of progressive furniture, architectural products, floor coverings and technology integration, has promoted Cody Roberdeau to Principal at the company’s Denver headquarters. “Cody has been instrumental in developing our architectural products division and, as a result of his team’s efforts, ELEMENTS was named DIRTT’s 2016 Distribution Partner of the Year,” said Traci Lounsbury, president and owner of ELEMENTS. “He has been with us since the very beginning, contributing immensely to our growth as a company and showing a deep commitment to our clients.”
CBRE Group, Inc. announced that Steven Kohls has joined its Colorado Springs office as a Vice President, focusing on sales and leasing services for office, commercial land and new development projects. Mr. Kohls brings 17 years of commercial real estate experience, including representing more than $350 million in sales and lease transactions and playing an instrumental role in 4.8 million square feet of Class A office and mixed-use projects. One of Mr. Kohls most-notable projects is Rivulon, a $750 million, 3.5 million-square- foot office, retail and hotel development built on a former agricultural site in Gilbert, Arizona.The project nearly doubled the town’s office footprint, introduced the first Class A space to the market and was successful in attracting top-tier tenants including Blackstone, Merrill Lynch and Mercedes-Benz. “Steve is a unique and strategic addition to the CBRE team. His success in identifying and navigating large, complex mixed-use developments will be a true game changer for our ability to provide world-class service to our clients in the greater Colorado Springs area,” said Pete Schippits, senior managing director and market leader for CBRE in Colorado.
STUDIO Architecture, a Boulder-based, full-service architecture and urban design firm, continues to grow with today’s announcement of two new team members. Margarita Bedmar is a 2010 masters grad from San Pablo Ceu University in Madrid, Spain. A licensed architect in Spain, Bedmar is in the process of getting her license in the U.S. and will work as an Intern Architect on the Attention Homes project, with a focus on technical support in the design of the building’s exterior envelope. Paige Davis is a 2016 Leeds School of Business grad from the University of Colorado. Paige will be marketing coordinator for the firm and will be instrumental in social media content distribution, proposal creation and implementing the firm’s CRM. “We’re excited to add Margarita and Paige to our team,” said Jeff Dawson, founder and principal of STUDIO Architecture. “They each bring an eagerness, passion and creativity that will benefit our clients and improve our growing office.”
