AGC Increases 45% on Five Year Anniversary of Director of Membership

Denver, CO –  The Associated General Contractors of Colorado (AGC), has increased its membership by 45% over the last five years as Andrea Berumen, Director of Membership and Communications, celebrates her five-year anniversary with the association. Ms. Berumen joined AGC in June of 2011 and since taking on a leadership role in membership, AGC has grown from 350 members in 2011 to 510 in 2016.

In addition to managing AGC membership and retention, Ms. Berumen is responsible for the Associates Council, the Northern and Southern Colorado Membership Committees, and Affinity Programs. She also manages the annual AGC Industry Gala & ACE Awards event and oversees several networking opportunities for members.

“Andrea has been an integral part of our growing membership at AGC. She excels at developing relationships with both current and prospective members through her understanding of the industry and being attentive to what our members are looking for when joining AGC,” comments Michael Gifford, President and CEO of AGC.

Prior to joining AGC, Ms. Berumen worked at CAD-1, Inc. for sixteen years as the Marketing Manager. Her extensive knowledge and experience in the architecture, engineering and construction industry has benefited AGC in order to meet the needs of the growing membership.
