Pueblo, CO – Back on September 15th, the Colorado Transportation Commission approved the $28 million spending budget for CDOT’s new regional headquarters in north Pueblo. Construction is set to start in November or December and is expected to take about 18 months to complete. CDOT plans to move into the 140-employee complex by mid-2018.

Enterprises donated the land for the CDOT project. The project team includes CBREThe Neenan Company and HPA as the selected design-build partners in a competitive bidding process at the end of last year. The firm also recently designed and built CDOT’ s new Region 4 headquarters in Greeley.

The new Region 2 building will span nearly 100,000 square feet to include office, maintenance, and traffic facilities. It will also serve as the regional headquarters for the Colorado State Patrol. In addition to building construction, the project will include city of Pueblo-funded road improvements, including the construction of Outlook Boulevard between Dillon Drive and Wills Boulevard.
