Dynia Architects Receives AIA Award for RiNo Development

DENVER – Dynia Architects, an architectural design firm with offices in Jackson, WY and Denver, was recently awarded four design awards including one for Freight Residences, a family-friendly housing development in Denver, at Zeppelin Development’s TAXI compound in RiNo.

The awards ceremony on Friday, September 22, at the Center for the Arts, was one of the final events of the AIA Wyoming Annual Fall Conference and 70th Anniversary Celebration.

Stephen Dynia, FAIA was also presented with The Silver Medal, AIA Wyoming’s highest honor which recognizes his considerable contributions to the American Institute of Architects, the practice of architecture, and the communities in which he works. Dynia Architects received four design awards; Awards of Citation for Boardwalk Cabin Compound (Teton County, WY) and Freight Residences (Denver, CO), an Award of Merit for The Grove (Jackson, WY), and an Award of Excellence for the Diagonal House (Teton Village, WY).

Stephen Dynia, FAIA was also a speaker during the conference, presenting on “Opportunity and Impact”.  Speakers included WY government officials, representatives from AIA National, and Will Bruder, FAIA.
