ULI: Raising the Bar for Colorado Design and Development

April 25 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

$35 - $90

In ULI’s popular two Design Forums in 2015 and 2016, we invited local developers and architects as well as a guest critic to critique design of new developments in Denver and beyond. Now it’s time to look for inspiration as our ULI community seeks to create buildings and public spaces worthy of our region and state.

We’ll hear case studies from nationally renowned David Baker Architects, whose work was featured in the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum exhibit “Design for the Other 90% Cities,” and Portland’s Urban Development Partners, lauded for raising the bar for typical apartment projects, along with a great local response panel. A big topic will be how to improve design while making the bottom line work during a time of rising construction costs, shifting public policy, and increased public opposition. The last two Design Forums sold out so sign up today to join us for this dialogue on design in Denver.
