GH Phipps Breaks Ground on Global Down Syndrome Foundation’s New Home

DENVER GH Phipps Construction Companies has begun construction of a mixed-use project in the booming Cherry Creek North neighborhood that will serve as the new home to the Global Down Syndrome Foundation.

The new 5-story building designed by Saiber Saiber Architecture, Inc., also will include ground-level retail and vocational training space operated by the foundation, as well as three levels of office space, and two levels of underground parking.

The non-profit foundation actively supports research projects on Down syndrome, as well as opportunities for training and healthcare for clients, aid to their families, and advocacy and education concerning the syndrome.

The 60,687-square-foot project, at Adams Street and East 2nd Avenue is expected to be completed in spring 2018.
