Denver, CO – Mark Paul and Jeff McGuire, investment veterans with a combined 55 years of experience, formed MJ Real Estate Investors, Inc. (MJRE) specializing in investing in commercial properties leased to experienced state regulatory compliant operators in the cannabis industry.

While the medicinal sale of marijuana is legal in 25 states, only five states allow recreational sales. Marijuana sales are expected to generate $140 million in tax revenues in Colorado in 2016.

MJ Real Estate Investors has launched with the acquisition of five commercial properties.
The five acquisitions, in Denver, CO and Portland, OR, total $11,900,000 and include two cultivation facilities and three medical/retail dispensaries. The largest, a 66,363-square foot industrial warehouse purchased for $6,918,476, represents a 14.25 percent 1st year CAP rate.
