Lakewood, CO —Pinkard Construction, with Centura Health and ERDMAN broke ground on Centura Health’s newest combined emergency and urgency care center in Colorado.
In a brief ceremony, St. Anthony CEO Jeff Brickman, Lakewood Mayor Adam Paul, Porter Adventist CEO Morre Dean and Centura Health Director Ambulatory Operations Ben Wiederholt, spoke in a brief ceremony. Representatives from Centura Health, operator Larkin Group and the former land owner, Chip Morrison, were then invited to begin demolition of the existing structures.
The new center, located at Wadsworth and Girton Ave, is approximately 10,000 sf, with 10 exam rooms, trauma room, laboratory, digital radiology room, bariatrics room, CT scan room, med prep area, drive-up EMS entrance, and extensive med gas. Formal demolition will begin Friday with opening slated for early January 2017.
