DENVER – NAVA Real Estate Development (Nava), a Colorado-based development company, will host a groundbreaking ceremony today for Lakehouse, a new 206-unit condominium and rowhome development overlooking Sloans Lake.

The groundbreaking will take place at 11:30 a.m. at 4202 West 17 th Avenue (at the intersection of 17 th Avenue and Raleigh Street, on the south side of Sloans Lake), with the development team, local dignitaries, buyers, friends and colleagues in attendance.

Lakehouse is one of the only for-sale condominium properties under development in Denver, and will provide buyers with unique services and amenities not available anywhere else. Located in the LEED-certified ‘Sloans’ district, on the former St. Anthony Hospital site, the residences are being listed exclusively by Dee Chirafisi, Kevin Garrett, and Matt McNeill, of Kentwood City Properties. Condominiums range in size from 675-square-feet to 2,285-square-feet, with one, two and three bedroom options, and the rowhomes are two bedrooms, ranging in size from 1,300-square-feet to 2,473-square-feet.

Lakehouse is being designed by RNL Design, with some collaboration with Munoz + Albin Architecture & Planning.  The general contractor is GH Phipps.

“We felt that Lakehouse was a unique opportunity in Colorado, to craft midrise living on a waterfront setting. With the dry climate here, people are strongly attracted to water because there’s so little around. We felt it was a chance to build something special and iconic, and we feel we have a product that will be very appealing to many buyers,” said Trevor Hines, of NAVA.

“Lakehouse’s setting on the south shore of Sloan’s Lake will be an urban oasis. It is enriched by the lake, incredible views and opportunities to live well. We have a designed a building that is modern, elegant, and inspiring unlike any other residence in Denver,” said Brian Levitt, of NAVA.

Levitt continued: “We will provide a variety of residential options, including penthouses, condominiums and rowhomes, with open designs and a blend of natural and modern construction. The people who decide to live in Lakehouse will not only find value in a great urban location with a lakefront setting, but they will also enjoy the benefits of Denver’s first residential building seeking WELL certification through the WELL Building StandardÔ, a performance-based system for measuring, certifying, and monitoring features of the built environment that impact human health and well-being.”

The residences will feature livable open-air balconies overlooking the lake, the mountains and the city; hand-selected finishes in four attractive palettes, high ceilings, hardwood floors, solid core doors and sleek fabric roller blinds; Chef-inspired kitchens with Italian cabinetry, solid slab counters, stainless appliances and high-end fixtures; five-piece master baths with tile accents and soaker tubs; secure underground parking.
