The Sports Authority headquarters located at 1050 W. Hampden Ave. in Englewood has been sold for $15.7 million to West Hampden Investors LLC. The 210,000 square feet of former industrial space was converted into an office when Etkin Johnson purchased the property back in 1998. The sale is part of more than 1.1 million square feet of real estate that was vacated when the company dissolved in 2016. Brad Power, Englewood’s community development director is excited about the sale of what he calls, “A major site at a key area in the city.”
