Aurora is 154 square miles of land that is ready to grow. Companies like Amazon Inc., Wal-Mart Inc., and Gaylord Rockies are taking notice with their plans to develop new facilities in Aurora. Two of the biggest markets Aurora is trying to cover is E-commerce, and data centers. Wal-Mart wants to build an e-commerce distribution center, and JPMorgan Chase has decided to build a data center in Aurora. There are hopes that with these new centers developing other companies will set their eyes on Aurora. The city also wants to market its new foreign trade designation that was approved in 2015. As of right now, there are 10,000 acres of land in Aurora under some form of development.
