Energy Company Signs Office Lease at 9+CO

NGL Energy Partners LP  has leased 48,000 square feet of office space at 9th & Colorado (9+CO), the 26-acre urban infill project at the site of the former University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver co-developed by Continuum Partners and CIM Group, NGL will have approximately 185 employees located in the new offices at 9+CO plus common meeting space for employees visiting from other corporate and field locations, with move-in planned for December.

“Because of our merger and acquisition activity in the last ten years, our employee base in Denver has grown considerably, outsizing our existing space,” said Audra Hamilton, senior vice president of Administration at NGL. “We are excited to have the opportunity to occupy this first-generation space that will both fit our current population’s business needs and provide our employees with retail and restaurant amenities within beautifully-designed walkable areas.”

NGL’s offices will occupy the top three floors of the five-story, Class A mixed-use building located at Colorado Boulevard and 8th Place. The building is comprised of 64,000 square feet of office and 34,575 square feet of ground floor retail with tenants that include CVS, Chase Bank, Bellco Credit Union and Pizzeria Locale. The building also includes a 716-stall parking garage. The building is designed to accommodate clear spanning open floor plans as well as smaller office spaces. There is currently 16,000 square feet of space on the 2nd floor still available for lease.

“We are thrilled to have NGL join the 9+CO community as the first major office tenant,” said Frank Cannon, development director for Continuum Partners. “With our prime location along the Colorado Boulevard corridor and the access to services and amenities within the community as well as the surrounding areas, 9+CO is proving to be a great place to office as well as to live and dine.”

Robert Link of CBRE served as representation for NGL in the leasing transaction and Todd Wheeler and Dan Beer at Cushman Wakefield represented 9+CO.
