Join SMPS Colorado for this discussion that explores the state’s transit-oriented developments (TODs) and transportation/infrastructure updates. Smarter use of existing transportation infrastructure is the foundation of more sustainable cities and Denver is looking to lead the way in Colorado. Policy updates are in the pipeline for TODs in the City of Denver. A new Transportation Demand Management (TDM) policy is currently in process with the City and should be approved in the coming months. The City will present what prompted the need for this policy and what it means for existing and future construction projects in Denver. Hear from a panel of private real estate industry and local government leaders as they discuss the benefits of TDM and how construction projects may need to change to accommodate it. Panelists include:
Chris Waggett | CEO, D4 Urban, LLC
Kristoffer Kenton, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP | Principal & Director of Architecture, Galloway & Company, Inc.
Tom Kilner | Managing Director, Western Region, EDENS
Zackary Wallace Mendez | Associate City Planner, City & County of Denver
