Our ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in real estate, development, construction management or finance and a minimum of fifteen years’ related experience in real estate or development. The preferred candidate will have a graduate degree in real estate, development, law, or construction management.

At Brinkman, the Vice President of Real Estate Operations leads the internal development, acquisitions, legal and transaction process of projects that have been secured by the business development team. This dynamic, highly collaborative role works closely with all levels of the organization to ensure execution and operational excellence in all steps of the project and transaction process. With a high level of commercial real estate transaction experience this position will connect all phases of the project from vision through successful completion including due diligence, legal documents, proformas, construction management and handoff to property management This role is also directly responsible for managing, leading and coaching internal team members and improving cross-functional processes. The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of real estate/development, be highly energetic, adaptable and committed to the future growth and success of the company. A passion for business, commercial real estate and leadership is required.
This position will be an active member of the Brinkman Leadership Team, providing continued growth of internal, cross-functional team relationships, supporting, developing, and training team members through the development and transaction process, providing guidance on research of general commercial real estate matters, and establishing standard operating procedures for the company’s development and transaction process while keeping both collaboration and accountability as top priorities.
