3850 Blake Street Topping Out Marks Major Milestone in RiNo

3850 Blake Topping Out

The Weitz Company, a subsidiary of Orascom Construction PLC, reached another major milestone on the 3850 Blake Street multifamily, commercial project in Denver, celebrating its structural concrete topping-out ceremony on March 6, 2026.

Located in Denver’s River North (RiNo) neighborhood, directly across from the 38th and Blake A-Line Station, the event brought together the project developer, Formativ, and project partners to celebrate the placement of the final concrete pillar.

This 16-story, 275,608-square-foot community will deliver 310 units, including studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. This development is designed to provide attainable, transit-oriented urban living to the greater downtown Denver area.

Developed by Formativ, this project will provide more affordable housing options while supporting the neighborhood’s ongoing growth. Formativ selected Denver-based Davis Partnership Architects as the Architect of Record (AOR) and interior design lead.

“This milestone at 3850 Blake reflects our shared commitment to delivering attainable housing in one of Denver’s most vibrant neighborhoods,” said Laura Eathorne, vice president & general manager–Colorado | The Weitz Company. “We are proud to partner with Formativ to bring thoughtfully designed homes to RiNo and support the continued growth of this community.”

Construction will continue in the coming months, with the project on track to welcome its first residents in Q2 of 2027 and further strengthen the north side of RiNo as a dynamic place to work and live.
