Baby boomers may be responsible for an increase in demand for senior living facilities, according to an article by the Denver Business Journal. Award-winning Balfour Senior Living currently has 10 new facilities—most of them in Colorado—either operating, under construction or in the planning phases. A 74-unit facility is currently under construction in Stapleton which is expected to be completed in June. More metro Denver facilities are in the planning stages and an 82-unit project in Littleton is slated for late this fall.
