Developer Lone Tree Trust and its exclusive listing broker Slifer Smith & Frampton (SSF) have announced the first commercial tenant at 9097’ Flats, a newly completed condominium project directly on Main Street in downtown Frisco, is now open for business. Open all day, The Silver Crown Whiskey Bar offers pour-over coffee and breakfast in the morning, followed by lunch, and then beer, cocktails, and dinner in the evening, as well as the best selection of premium whiskey, scotch, and bourbon in Summit County, with a particular focus on Colorado whiskies.
Proprietors Jay Dorman and Christine Thompson—who also own a residence at 9097’ Flats—worked with the developers on a concept that would be the “heart” of the building, for both residential and commercial tenants. The 2,000-square-foot space has about 90 seats indoors and about 25 seats outside. The location—right on Main Street, near I-70 and with ski shuttle stops right outside the door—is ideally located to attract locals, visitors, workers in the area, and residents from the building. The design, by Thompson’s firm, JAC Interiors Colorado, is a high-end, modern combination of a Scottish pub and a ski chalet with a lounge atmosphere – no TV’s, subtle background music, moody lighting, lounge chairs and coffee tables, and a fireplace as the room’s centerpiece.
Created by Head Chef Manny Torres, the menu provides an elevated dining experience with plates like Hamachi crudo, steak tartare, cheese boards, and handmade sourdough empanadas
“Frisco has a lot of great bars, but nothing with this vibe,” said proprietor Jay Dorman. “We hope to have a good mix of customers, from people grabbing a coffee and breakfast empanada in the morning on the way to Copper, to residents gathering for a whiskey and small plates and tapas in the evening.”
Located at 80 W. Main Street, 9097’ Flats offers 36 residences ranging from one- to three-bedrooms and approximately 10,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space. Construction of the project is complete and move-ins are already taking place. To date, 16 residences have been sold and an additional nine residences are under contract. The remaining 11 residences available start at under $1 million. Three remaining commercial spaces are also still available with square footage ranging from 1,320 to 3,598.
“The building looks fantastic—the finishes are gorgeous, and the views are stunning,” said Michele Hart and Jim Schlegel, lead listing brokers on the project for Slifer Smith & Frampton. “We are thrilled at how the project has turned out and are so excited to finally be able to welcome both residents and Silver Crown customers.”
