Alliance Construction Solutions proudly marked a key milestone this week with the groundbreaking of Sunrise at Shiloh Mesa, a transformative four-story, 50-unit affordable senior housing community in northeast Colorado Springs. This new development will deliver high-quality, permanently affordable homes for seniors in the region, all designed with accessibility and comfort as priorities.

Spanning 44,872 square feet, Sunrise at Shiloh Mesa represents a collaborative effort between Greccio Housing, as developer, Alliance Construction Solutions as general contractor, and Way Architects providing design expertise. Scheduled to open in summer 2026, the community will feature modern wood-frame construction, elevators, in-unit washers and dryers, community gather spaces, and seamless connectivity to nearby sidewalks, trails, and the adjacent Woodmen Heights campus. The project is further supported by Woodmen Valley Chapel’s Center, which generously donated the land, and will provide volunteer-operated shuttle service to future residents.

At the groundbreaking event, Lee Patke, executive director of Greccio Housing, emphasized the importance of helping seniors remain rooted in the neighborhoods they’ve supported. As housing costs continue to rise, developments like Sunrise at Shiloh Mesa play a crucial role in preserving access to safe, stable, and affordable housing for senior residents in Colorado Springs.

That sentiment was echoed by Dan Farrar, ACS superintendent, who shared, “We’re proud to be part of this project that directly supports our neighbors. We live and work in Colorado Springs, so this effort is personal—we’re building for our community.” City representatives, including Thomas Thompson, recognized the initiative as a model for addressing regional housing needs through collaboration, shared values, and long-term vision.

This project reflects a powerful partnership between Greccio Housing, Way Architects, Woodmen Valley Chapel, and Alliance Construction Solutions—one rooted in dignity, accessibility, and meaningful community investment.

Alliance Construction Solutions remains committed to delivering quality construction that brings lasting value and purpose to the community. As the general contractor for this important project, ACS takes pride in contributing to a development that will benefit Colorado Springs families and their futures.
