Jack’s Modern Steakhouse Lone Tree to Reopen Following Electrical Fire

Jack’s Modern Steakhouse is proud to announce the reopening of its Lone Tree location on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, following a temporary closure caused by an accidental electrical fire on January 22. The fire, which originated inside a second-floor wall and was swiftly contained by South Metro Fire Rescue—with no injuries reported—resulted in significant smoke damage throughout the 13,600-square-foot restaurant. After months of careful remediation and restoration, Jack’s is ready to welcome the Lone Tree community back through its doors.

“This community showed up for us in a way we’ll never forget,” Jack’s President Darryl Shoemake said. “From the moment news of the fire spread, the outpouring of support from our neighbors, guests and the Lone Tree community was overwhelming. We couldn’t wait to get back, and we’ve used this time to come back stronger than ever, with some exciting new additions we think people are really going to love.”

Throughout the closure, Jack’s prioritized its people. The restaurant retained 80% of its Lone Tree staff, with all employees kept fully paid during the closure through insurance coverage. The decision reflects Jack’s longstanding commitment to its team and the community it calls home.

Guests returning on April 28 will find the same elevated dining experience Jack’s is known for, including its exclusive all-Wagyu steak program, signature dry-aged seafood, Triple Combo Sashimi and award-winning cocktail program, along with exciting new additions to the menu. Chef Oscar Diaz Lechuga has debuted a new Wagyu of Pork entree, an Iberico Secreto from Spain, joining Lone Tree exclusives like Bone Marrow, Beef and Reef Paella, Lobster Ravioli, and the award-winning Pineapple Red Curry Chicken.

Looking ahead, guests have even more to anticipate. A new speakeasy bar will open on the lower level in early May, adding a distinct, intimate experience to the Lone Tree location unlike anything found at Jack’s on Pearl. Details on the concept, design and programming are still to come

“We’ve always believed food and hospitality are about connection,” Chef Lechuga said. “Coming back to Lone Tree means everything to our team. We’ve put our hearts into this reopening, and we can’t wait to share what’s next with the community.”

Jack’s Modern Steakhouse Lone Tree will reopen to the public on Tuesday, April 28. The restaurant will serve lunch and brunch daily, Monday through Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., followed by happy hour from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Dinner service runs nightly from 5 p.m. until close.
