KTGY Announces the Hiring of Craig Lawrence, AIA, NCARB as Associate Principal

KTGY, an award-winning design firm focused on architecture, interior design, branded environments, and urban design, announced the hiring of Craig Lawrence, AIA, NCARB, as an associate principal in its Denver office, elevating the firm’s regional expertise and expanding the opportunities to support clients across the Mountain West.

Lawrence joins the leadership team of Bill Ramsey and Jonathan Jaeger within KTGY Denver’s for-sale studio. Born and raised in the Denver area, and having received a master’s degree from CU Denver, Lawrence brings nearly two decades of experience designing homes that fit the needs and desires of Coloradans and homeowners across the region.   

As a member of KTGY’s Board of Directors, Ramsey will continue to foster national relationships while also dedicating time to firmwide conversations, growth and strategy. Lawrence will partner with Jonathan Boriack to support the expansion of the Denver for-sale team.

MBH Architects Announces Promotion of Joe Irwin to Principal
 
MBH Architects, an award-winning architecture and design firm, has announced the promotion of Joe Irwin to principal, recognizing his leadership, technical expertise, and lasting contributions to the firm’s growth, innovation, and design excellence.

Based in MBH’s Denver office, Irwin serves as studio director and Denver office director, bringing more than 15 years of leadership in fixture design and architectural innovation. His career has focused on advancing the firm’s design and production capabilities from conceptual development through 3D modeling and fabrication, supporting global projects that require both precision and creativity.
 
As a project leader, Irwin has guided multidisciplinary teams of international consultants and vendors to deliver complex, custom fixture programs for high-profile and confidential clients. He was recognized by Architect Magazine for pioneering the integration of 3D printing into architectural workflows, reflecting his deep expertise in fabrication, model making, and digital modeling technologies. His portfolio includes bespoke work for the Ansel Adams Gallery and Hangar 1 Vodka, along with extensive research and development initiatives that continue to shape the future of retail environments and experiential design.
 
Irwin has also played a key role in strengthening MBH’s internal operations and culture, contributing to continuing education and design technology knowledge-sharing groups, participating in international architecture conferences, and supporting firmwide innovation efforts, including AI-driven workflows. He helped launch and grow MBH’s Denver office and has contributed to multiple studio environments across the firm. He was promoted to Senior Associate in 2018 and holds a Bachelor of Design in Architectural Studies from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a Master of Architecture from the NewSchool of Architecture and Design.

Sage Hospitality Group names Megan Pierce  Area Director of Sales & Marketing

Sage Hospitality Group announced that Megan Pierce is now serving as the area director of sales & marketing, overseeing The Rally Hotel, located in Denver’s entertainment mecca, McGregor Square, and The Maven Hotel, anchoring Denver’s vibrant Dairy Block micro-district. 

Pierce has been a member of the Sage Hospitality team for more than a decade and is excited to bring her experience, institutional knowledge, and a people-first leadership approach to both independent downtown Denver properties. 

She most recently served as the area director of sales & marketing, overseeing Denver’s Curtis, a DoubleTree by Hilton, and the Hotel Teatro. Sage Hospitality honored Pierce with the 2023 Torchbearer Award for her sales leadership and innovative spirit. Her career trajectory reflects a proven ability to elevate results while maintaining a culture rooted in creativity, connection, and innovation.

Outside of work, Pierce enjoys country music, travel, reading, and spending time with family. A Midwest native, she is now happily rooted in Denver with her husband and their family.
