Saunders Marks 15 Years of Corporate Social Responsibility

Saunders Construction, a leading commercial construction company in Colorado, has released its 15th consecutive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report. This reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable social and business practices, community engagement, and environmental stewardship. This year’s report describes how Saunders stayed rooted in its values as it focused on resetting and refocusing their business initiatives. 

The 2024 Report Highlights Saunders’ achievements in several key areas, including economic innovation, environmental sustainability and social impact. Notable accomplishments from this year’s report include: 

Economic Innovation: Saunders was named the 2024 ENR Mountain States Contractor of the Year—a recognition of the dedication, grit, and quality delivered in the years following the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Environmental Sustainability: Saunders continued to improve their approach to building with the environment in mind, including the net-zero energy Wecker Hall for the U.S. Air Force Academy Foundation. 

Social Impact: Saunders’ employee-led Building Confidence in Kids (BCiK) program celebrated its 15th anniversary, continuing to invest in Colorado’s youth. Building what matters with people who matter also remained a top priority, with the company recording one of the best safety years in its history.
