DIRC Homes, a boutique builder focusing on urban infill and transit-oriented developments in Colorado — in partnership with Denver-based KRMN Investments, LLC, and Pivotal Architecture PC — broke ground this week on Capitol Hill’s newest multifamily project, Mullen Flats.

“We are excited to work with new partners in the market for our first apartment project,” said Jason Morris, DIRC Homes’ vice president of construction. “Mullen Flats is unique because we will be building around an existing mansion, which will give it a lot of character.”

Mullen Flats is a three story, 13-studio unit apartment building with modern amenities and a contemporary feel to be built in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver. It will consist of three ground floor studios, four 2nd floor studios with private rooftop decks, three 3rd floor units, three mezzanine-level studios, and nine covered parking spaces which are accessed from the alley.

“The KRMN Investments team is excited about partnering with DIRC Homes and Pivotal Architecture on a major infill project in Capitol Hill,” said Ryan Neville. “It is a unique property with a unique design which we feel will add a lot of value to the neighborhood.”

The project is anticipated to be complete and ready for tenants Spring 2021.
