2nd Denver-Area IKEA Store Coming to Broomfield

Next spring, the Swedish retailing giant IKEA will begin construction of a 400,000-square-foot Broomfield store, to be built on 36 acres at the northwestern corner of Interstate 25 and State Highway 7. The new store will include 1,500 parking spaces, employ 500 people during the construction process and 300 when it opens summer 2019.

There are currently 44 IKEA stores in the U.S. and the company has been ranked among the “Best Companies to Work For.” As further investment in its coworkers, IKEA has raised its own minimum wage twice in two years.
