58-Key Hotel Proposed for Denver’s Lake Steam Baths

According to concept plans, the bathhouse will be remodeled and used as an accessory use to the hotel. Plans for the 4,660-square-foot bathhouse include a relaxation room, lockers, sauna, steam room, six massage rooms and a pool room with hot and pools.

The first floor will include the hotel lobby and a 4,663-square-foot spa. The second floor will feature 10 hotel rooms, a fitness center and a pool deck, and levels three through five will house the other 48 hotel rooms.

The existing facade and signage will be preserved and accoding to plans, the owners are currently working with Historic Denver to preserve the building’s facade and distinct “Lake Steam Baths Sauna” sign, and have also met and garnered the support of local neighborhood groups, WeCAN and SLCG.

Concept plans represent the earliest stages of a project’s development and are subject to approvals and changes from the city.
