9th & Colorado (9+CO) recently welcomed a variety of new restaurants, services and retailers to the community. TARRA women’s co-working space opened on September 15, while Little Kitchen Academy, Le French, Squeeze Massage, Light Lounge, InStudio Orthodontics and Dogdrop all plan to open in Spring 2023.

The 26-acre urban infill project located at Colorado Boulevard and 9th Avenue and co-developed by Continuum Partners and CIM Group is comprised of approximately two million square feet of mixed-use development. A highly walkable development, 9+CO is designed to complement and connect with the surrounding residential neighborhoods, integrating open space and pedestrian amenities with a mix of uses including residential, office, retail, as well as plentiful public parking.

“9+CO has really become one of the preeminent communities in Denver with a variety of living options, plenty of open space, curated events and now even more retailers joining an already incredible list of businesses that call the area home,” said Frank Cannon, development director for Continuum Partners. “We are thrilled to welcome these new tenants to 9+CO in the coming months.”

TARRA, a new flexible office and membership work club, opened its 9+CO location to serve as a community hub for Denver’s diverse woman-owned business community. The new 12,500-square-foot flexible office and work club is vibrant and amenity-rich and houses 33 private offices for teams and small businesses as well as a dynamic open-plan work environment for members. TARRA offers both part-time and full-time work club memberships.

In addition to TARRA’s recent opening, a number of tenants plan to open in Spring 2023 including:

Little Kitchen Academy Denver 9+CO will soon be welcoming students into their first-of-its-kind Montessori-inspired cooking academy for children ages three through teen. The Little Kitchen Academy (LKA) team provides a safe, inspiring, and empowering space for children to identify, develop, and refine their senses.

Le French, the casual chic French restaurant serving brunch, lunch and dinner, will open their second location at 9+CO. Founded by Senegalese French sisters Aminata and Rougui Dia, Le French specializes in high-end pastries and elevated modern Parisian cuisine with global influences, a nod to the sisters’ heritage. The first location of Le French in Belleview Station has consistently been ranked a top restaurant in Denver and recognized as a must-try black-owned restaurant not just in Denver, but in the U.S.

Squeeze is a way better massage experience from the founders of Drybar. Their revolutionary app-based booking platform allows guests to book, set personalized preferences, pay, tip, rate and review all at their fingertips so guests can walk in and figuratively float out. Squeeze’s flagship location opened in Los Angeles, CA in 2019 and there are currently over 50 additional locations in development across the county. This is the first location in Denver and Colorado.

“Choosing 9+CO was an easy decision for our first Squeeze location. Driving into the recently restored area and seeing the creative mix of both residential and commercial structures, 9+CO promises to become one of Denver’s memorable neighborhood centers,” said Mark and Stacey Jamison, Squeeze Cherry Creek operating partners. “The growth, potential, community and ample parking are key reasons why we chose 9+CO. Being able to design our space exactly how we envision our Squeeze shop was an added bonus. We love the vibe at 9+CO any time of day or night. We look forward to being part of an amazing community and can’t wait to Squeeze ya soon!”

Also opening in Spring 2023 will be Light Lounge, which offers Photobiomodulation (PBM) Light Therapy – the latest innovation in health, recovery, and wellness – to local residents. Previously available only to professional athletes and those individuals willing to pay upwards of $150k to procure their own PBM light beds, Light Lounge allows easy access to this new and cutting-edge technology which is proven to decrease inflammation and oxidative stress in just 8-12 minutes per treatment and is backed by 50 years of clinical and laboratory research with no documented side-effects. The 9+CO location will be the fifth in the Denver metro area with other locations in Evergreen, Boulder, Arvada and Littleton. There is also a location in Lehi, Utah, and another in the early stages of construction in Scottsdale, Ariz.

InStudio Orthodontics will be opening at 9+CO. InStudio is an orthodontic practice that uses InBrace, the personalized, behind-the-teeth teeth straightener that is completely hidden. InBrace treats all types of orthodontic cases. InStudio at 9+CO will treat patients and be a best-in-class experience center to teach and train providers to integrate InBrace into their practices.

Finally, 9+CO will welcome Dogdrop, a tech-centered dog daycare based around convenience and flexibility, providing safe socialization, directed activity and training to enrich the lives of dogs and the humans with whom they live. Dogdrop offers high-quality open-play daycare, overseen by highly trained staff, with a flexible membership-based pricing model.
