According to the Denver Post, relief may be on its way for many Denver renters facing eviction. Denver Mayor Michael Hancock announced Tuesday that a new Temporary Rental and Utility Assistance Program — which will debut in November — is designed to help keep renters in their home, during a time when rents are climbing throughout the metro area.
The initiative will provide up to six months of assistance to low- and moderate-income residents facing potential eviction, economic pressures or other crisis that could lead to the loss of a home.
