Columbia Sussex Corporation, a privately owned hotel owner and operator based in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, has purchased The Inverness Denver, a Hilton Golf and Spa Resort in Englewood, for $48.5 million, according to a special warranty deed filed in Arapahoe County.
JLL represented the seller, Silverwest Hotels, in the transaction.
Located at 200 Inverness Drive West, the property sits on approximately 160 acres in the I-25 Southeast Metro Denver corridor, about 25 minutes south of Downtown Denver.
The resort’s 302 guestrooms include 19 suites and range from 312-square-foot standard accommodations to the 1,150-square-foot Presidential Suite. Executive floor accommodations feature raised ceilings, private concierge services, balconies and access to the executive lounge.
The resort’s comprehensive amenity package includes five food and beverage outlets, nearly 50,000 square feet of International Association of Conference Center-accredited meeting space featuring the 5,400-square-foot Alpine Ballroom and more than 20 conference rooms. The property features the critically acclaimed 18-hole Inverness Golf Course, designed by J. Press Maxwell, son of renowned golf course architect Perry Maxwell, alongside The Club at Inverness.
