Michael Keiser, son of Mike Keiser and co-owner of the acclaimed Sand Valley in Wisconsin, has unveiled a first look at his newest public golf destination, Rodeo Dunes. Located less than an hour from Denver and a short drive from the Fort Collins and Colorado Springs areas, the project is scheduled to open for public play in 2027, with tee times set to be released in the first quarter of 2026.
Rodeo Dunes stretches across 4,000 acres of dunes with sweeping 125-mile views of Colorado’s Front Range, blending rugged links golf with the spirit of the American West.
The first course, designed by renowned architecture team Coore & Crenshaw, is complete and in final grow-in, marking a return to the inland-links style that defined their iconic Sand Hills project. A second course by longtime Coore & Crenshaw associate Jimmy Craig has been routed, with construction expected to begin soon. A multi-acre putting course will also debut in 2027.
Keiser’s land partner is the Cervi family; Binion and Chase Cervi operate Cervi Championship Rodeo, the largest rode stock supplier and producer of rodeo competitions in the United States.
Rodeo Dunes is regarded as one of the most anticipated openings in modern American golf. Plans for clubhouse, lodge and privately-owned residences are expected to be announced soon.
The preview comes as Keiser continues to expand his portfolio of public golf destinations, including Wild Spring Dunes in East Texas and Old Shores in Florida. Located north of Nacogdoches, Wild Spring Dunes will begin preview play on its first course, designed by Tom Doak, on November 12, 2025.
