Saunders Construction is proud to announce that HopeKids Colorado has been chosen as the next partner for its Building Confidence in Kids® (BCiK) philanthropic program. The two-year partnership kicks off in 2026 and will further deepen Saunders’ commitment to supporting organizations that positively impact the lives of children and families throughout Colorado.
HopeKids provides ongoing events, activities, and a powerful, unique support community for families who have a child with cancer or another life-threatening medical condition. Rather than a calendar filled with clinic appointments, chemotherapy, and hospital stays, families can look forward to a schedule packed with free, fun experiences like theater shows, sporting events, concerts, museums, the zoo, and more.
“We are so grateful to be selected for this partnership,” said Robbin Brown, executive director for HopeKids Colorado. “A big part of the HopeKids mission is using our calendar of events to create an environment where families can easily find support and build friendships with others who truly ‘get it.’ It might be a cancer family meeting a kidney transplant family, but that instant connection can offer incredible comfort. This collaboration with Saunders Construction will help us continue providing more events for families and strengthening the supportive community that makes such a difference in their lives.”
Since 2009, Saunders’ BCiKprogram has empowered employees to engage directly with nonprofit partners through fundraising, volunteer events, and strategic support. This initiative complements Saunders’ broader corporate social responsibility efforts by fostering meaningful community engagement and delivering long-term impact where it matters most.

Over the next two years, Saunders employees will participate in a variety of volunteer activities, fundraising events and collaborative opportunities designed to amplify HopeKids Colorado’s mission and strengthen the meaningful experiences offered to families in need. Save the date for the Building Confidence in Kids Clay Shoot on October 2, 2026, where industry partners will come together to raise funds in support of HopeKids Colorado and the families it serves.
