The Stockman, the market’s first Auberge Collection-branded residence, has selected Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Intermountain Properties as its exclusive sales team. This partnership underscores the project’s continued momentum as it prepares to launch residential sales in Steamboat Springs. Pre-sales for the project are currently underway, with the official sales launch anticipated for early this summer. 

Comprised of highly seasoned, locally based real estate professionals, the team will guide the project from reservations to contracts, bringing deep market insight and a well-established record across luxury residential and resort communities. Having closed more than $25 billion in sales between 2020 and 2025 and ranked as the number one independently owned brokerage in the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Intermountain Properties brings a strong foundation of success. With particular expertise in high-end resort markets throughout the Mountain West, the team is well positioned to deliver a strategic and highly informed sales approach for a project of this caliber. 

Leading the team as Director of Sales is longtime Steamboat Springs resident, Suzanne Schlicht, whose career is defined by exceptional performance, leadership and market insight. Schlicht has closed more than $150 million in luxury residential transactions, including nearly a decade long tenure at Alpine Mountain Ranch and Club, where she played an instrumental role in positioning the community as one of the region’s most sought-after residential offerings. Her background spans real estate sales, marketing and development strategy, making her a trusted advisor to both buyers and development partners. 

Alongside Schlicht, industry veteran Beth Postemski joins the team with more than forty years of experience in Steamboat Springs and a distinguished track record exceeding $125 million in residential sales. Since 1985, Postemski has led and managed sales for some of the region’s most notable projects including Howelsen Place, Alpenglow Condominiums, Sidney Peak Ranch and The Porches. Widely regarded for her institutional knowledge of the Steamboat market, Postemski has been directly involved in shaping many of the community’s landmark residential projects. Rounding out the team is Madisen Ladley, who brings a strong understanding of the local market and a client-focused approach.

The project is also entering its next phase of development, with on-site work set to begin in May. Initial efforts will focus on enabling work, including utilities and excavation, with a hoarding wall to be installed, marking the first visible step forward on-site. 

Slated for completion in 2030, the nine-story property will feature 59 guest rooms and suites and 95 private residences, offering true ski-in, ski-out access to the region’s famed Champagne Powder® snow.  

Upon opening, the development will introduce three distinct culinary venues and a Wellbeing by Auberge concept, including a full-service spa and pool. The wellness offering will feature thermal bathing experiences designed to restore energy and encourage connection. Year-round programming will further activate the property, from ski-butler service and après-ski in the winter to outdoor experiences and poolside leisure in warmer months. 

The Stockman, Auberge Collection is being developed by Stockman Development LLC, led by Marquee Development and designed by OZ Architecture with interiors by Nunzio Marc DeSantis Architects. The development is located at 1965 Ski Time Square Drive. Residential sales will launch in summer 2026.
