TAG Restaurant Group, led by Denver restaurateur Troy Guard, is bringing its beloved Boozy Brunch Joint™ HashTAG to Wheat Ridge on October 15, 2026. The fourth HashTAG location marks Chef Guard’s first restaurant in west Denver and a milestone moment for a brand that has become a Denver brunch staple.
HashTAG Wheat Ridge will be located at The Lookout at Clear Creek Crossing, a new five-acre dining and entertainment district built around a public park with mountain views, an amphitheater, fire pits, and a communal dining license that lets guests move freely between concepts with a drink in hand. The Lookout is developed by Denver-based Evergreen Devco at the southwest corner of Interstate 70 and Highway 58.
“TAG Restaurant Group has called Denver home for almost 20 years, and we’ve been looking for the right way to bring something to the west side of the city,” said Chef Troy Guard. “The Lookout is exactly the kind of gathering place we want to be part of, and somewhere we feel like we can really become part of the Wheat Ridge community. HashTAG offers people a place to hang out, have a good meal, and have a good time doing it.”
HashTAG Wheat Ridge will be the first location to bring guests into the counter-to-table service model. Guests order and grab a drink from the full bar right at the counter, then settle in at a table where the HashTAG team takes it from there with full service. It’s a natural fit for The Lookout’s easy, come-as-you-are energy, where guests can wander between concepts with a drink in hand, post up on the shared patio or park seating, and stay as long as they like.
That shift pairs with a bigger focus on lunch. While HashTAG has built its name on weekend brunch, the Wheat Ridge location is designed to be a daily gathering spot and a fast, reliable lunch option for the growing number of residents, hospital staff, and office workers now calling this corner of west Denver home, alongside the full weekend brunch experience guests already know.
With patios and a central bar, the Wheat Ridge HashTAG will serve the concept’s signature new lunch menu and high-energy brunch with award-winning Eggs Benedict, Chilaquiles, the Big Cast-Iron Cinnamon Roll, Biscuits & Gravy, and platter-sized HashTAG Hotcakes, alongside a spirited lineup of brunch cocktails including Bloody Marys, Mimosas, and the crowd-favorite Big A$$ Breakfast Punch.
The Lookout places HashTAG alongside fellow local favorites Prost Brewing and The Agora at Applewood, forming a new hub for food, drink, and neighborhood life on the west side. With hundreds of new residents living on-site and easy access from the Clear Creek Trail, the district is positioned to become one of west Denver’s go-to gathering spots.
