Speed to occupancy was the primary requirement for Greenwood Village’s Clifton Larson Allen (CLA), at Crescent 7, a Class A office building at 8390 East Crescent Parkway. The financial services firm had a move-in date only twelve weeks from the start of construction post demolition. Denver-based Aberdeen Construction, specializing in tenant finish and ground-up new construction, accommodated that schedule by building out the complex full-floor space on-time and on-budget.
“There were quite a few special challenges which we had to overcome simultaneously in order to keep to the schedule and the budget,” said Aberdeen general manager Rick Roberts.
The space was packed with special-purpose areas, including a full training room, IT room, kitchen and break area, two-sided reception, huddle rooms of various sizes and shapes, and a dedicated open-plan space for workstations and equipment. Several custom elements, including soffits, lighting, furniture, and paint completed the floor.
Stream Realty Partners Denver manages the Cresent office building complex within the Crescent Town Center. The center was created as a master-planned development comprised of five office buildings, a hotel and two first-class restaurants.
