Project team members, community partners and City of Loveland dignitaries recently broke ground on a new 55+ active adult rental community, Avenida Loveland. The apartments are located within the Centerra master-planned community and are developed by Avenida Partners, LLC. Brinkman Construction is the general contractor and Element Architects designed the project.
A representative from Avenida and City of Loveland Mayor Jacki Marsh spoke to the positive community impact this project will have for Loveland residents, their families and the economy.
“We’re excited to bring this dynamic new lifestyle to Loveland. Avenida Loveland provides an opportunity for existing residents to ‘rightsize’ in the community where they raised their families, and it gives someone who has always wanted to live in Loveland—and specifically Centerra—an opportunity to do so,” said Matthew May, vice president at Avenida Partners. “Our residents will have the option to explore nearby restaurants and retail, as well as walk or bike the adjacent miles of trails that directly connect our community to Boyd Lake and the rest of Loveland. We’re honored to have the opportunity to add to the existing fabric of Centerra and provide a much needed and unmatched residential option for the senior we hope to call a resident.”
The 182,000-square-foot apartment community, located just north of the intersection of North Boyd Lake Avenue and east U.S. Highway 34, will expand the senior residential options available in Centerra by offering a much-needed and unmatched new experience: a community that is tailor-made for independent seniors over the age of 55 who are interested in enjoying a maintenance-free and program-enriched lifestyle.
The three-story property will feature a modern farmhouse architectural design and offer 154 senior apartment homes consisting of one- and two-bedroom floorplans with contemporary finishes, as well as a 10,000 square foot, two-story amenity space and leasing office. Community amenities will include a swimming pool and spa, fitness rooms, a pickle ball court, a theater and private dining areas.
Construction of the building is expected to be complete in late 2022.
