Alliance Construction Solutions has completed Liberty View at Fitzsimons, an affordable housing development for veterans aged 62+ and their families. The project is a collaboration between Aurora Housing Authority, Studio Completiva, and Alliance.
The 61,000-square-foot property offers 59 units of affordable housing consisting of one- and two-bedroom units, as well as outdoor and indoor community space for its residents to enjoy.
Located at 1959 Quentin Street in Aurora, Liberty View at Fitzsimons is built on a 2.3-acre site on the Fitzsimons campus, is conveniently within half a mile of Fitzsimons Station light rail station, and just over a mile from Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical center; allowing for easy transportation and medical care for the residents.
The project had a successful groundbreaking in January 2022, to mark the official start of construction.
“As a Veteran, being part of the Liberty View at Fitzsimons project team has been a rewarding experience. Being part of this team means we’re able to provide a safe, secure place for Veterans and their families. They’ve given so much to serve this nation; it is an honor to give back to them,” said Wade Hunt, superintendent at Alliance.
