The Arvada City Council rejected Amazon’s proposal for a 112,485-square-foot delivery center at 6730 Indiana St. in Arvada on Monday. The council rejected two resolutions to annex and rezone land needed for the project.
The warehouse would have been a last stop for items being loaded into trucks and sent out for delivery, bringing 14 semi trucks to the facility per day. Neighbors had gathered more than 9,800 signatures in opposition to the plan.
