Asana Partners, a vertically integrated real estate investment firm creating value in dynamic and vibrant mixed–use neighborhoods, and the current owner of Denver’s Larimer Square, has purchased a row of historic retail buildings along Platte Street in downtown Denver for $39.75 million, according to property records.
Asana purchased the Root Building at 2401 15th St., the Big Chief Bottling Company building at 1537 Platte St., 1549 Platte St., and the Zang Building at 1553 Platte St. from Unico Properties and Broad Street Principal Investors.
1537 Platte, also known as Big Chief Bottling Company, is a 13,540-square-foot single parcel with a two-story mixed-use building.
The Zang Building at 1553 Platte St. is a 43,749-square-foot multi-tenant, Class B, historic office building with ground-floor retail space. The red brick structure was constructed in 1910 and extensively renovated in 1985.
The Root Building at 2401 15th St. is a 47,900-square-foot multi-tenant, Class B, historic office building with ground-floor retail space that was constructed in 1890 and extensively renovated in 1985, according to Unico Properties’ website.
