Atlas Real Estate Group Acquires ESR Management

DENVER/PRNewswire/ — Atlas Real Estate Group, specializing in real estate investments, brokerage and property management, announces the acquisition of ESR Management.

Launched in January 2016, ESR Management was founded with the purpose of providing best-in-class property management for investment properties in the Denver Metro region. The organization’s managing partners Eric Ross and Jake Ralson came to an agreement to merge their business with Atlas, and the two firms closed on the transaction on June 30.

Ross will join Atlas in a business development role and stay involved with the new venture.

With the addition of ESR Management’s portfolio, Atlas now manages more than 1,300 residential real estate units, from Boulder to Colorado Springs.

“When we identified the opportunity to bring our two businesses together, it was a no-brainer to move forward,” said Nick Mertens, vice president of property management at Atlas. “The ESR team has done an exceptional job of helping clients exceed above-market returns, and we look forward to ways to grow the combined businesses in the coming months and years.”

The acquisition marks Atlas’ ongoing expansion in the Colorado region. The firm, which was named Best of Colorado Property Management by ColoradoBiz Magazine and one of Denver Business Journal’s 2017 Best Places to Work, recently added a second office location in Colorado Springs.

Atlas was co-founded in 2008 by Ryan Boykin and Jason Shepherd. Since its inception, the group has bought and sold more than 4,000 properties on behalf of individuals, institutional investors and Atlas’ own portfolio, totaling over $750 million worth of transactions.
