Black Creek Group, a Denver-based real estate investment management firm with a more than 25-year history, recently purchased a 151,000-square-foot Class B industrial building at 5000 Lima St. in Denver. The property is currently 100 percent leased to courier service provider Express Messenger Systems.

EXDO Properties – which oversees the management of commercial and residential property throughout the Denver metropolitan area — sold the property to Black Creek on April 15. Alex Rhodes & Drew McManus with Cushman & Wakefield represented EXDO in the transaction. The sale price was not disclosed.

“5000 Lima represents the type of well-located, infill industrial real estate that Black Creek prefers for its holdings,” said Mace McClatchy Black Creek Group’s senior vice president, market officer for the South-Central Region. “The building’s excellent location, coupled with stable cash flow from a well-positioned tenant, made the acquisition an attractive one for Black Creek as we continue to look for opportunities to expand our presence in the Denver industrial market.”
