Commercial real estate professionals are uniquely positioned to partner with philanthropic organizations, providing the guidance needed to navigate the process optimally and carry out their unique missions. Community involvement is at the heart of Zanone Project Management’s services.

Founded in 2019, Zanone Project Management offers tenants, investors, and landlords a team of well-connected experts in construction management and owner representation.

“Bridging the real estate and AEC professionals with philanthropic organizations is part of our company culture. By serving as their owner’s representative, we can bring in the right people at the right time to capture opportunities. Working with Project Worthmore and Rainbow Dome, we are helping to impact the quality of life in our communities,” says Joe Zanone, owner, Zanone Project Management.

A Permanent Home for Rainbow Dome

Since 2021, Rainbow Dome, a community venue for roller skating, entertainment, and art that welcomes all, has been hosting pop-up events throughout the Denver metro area and is now working towards opening a permanent location. With the support of angel investors, Rainbow Dome has secured 1660 Federal as the future location for the only dedicated roller-skating rink within the City of Denver.

Located in Sun Valley, the 29,000-square-foot property has the potential to be a catalyst for nurturing social cohesion and creative placemaking along Denver’s growing entertainment corridor, connecting Meow Wolf, the Platte River Walk, and Empower Field (the Broncos Football Stadium). Rainbow Dome’s rink and event space will be the anchor tenant in a multi-use community hub, co-located with multiple value-aligned partners. Rainbow Dome is currently raising the final funds for the $12 million project, with much of the initial funding coming from Fractured Atlas

THE5WH is serving as the architect designing the renovation to the existing two-story building, the lower level features a skating rink that serves as a flexible space for other uses. The main level will provide spaces to foster community, including a black box theater, a café, and an entry lobby that highlights the community’s artistic talents. Rainbow Dome serves as a model for how a values-based design approach can improve our environment and strengthen our communities. Howell Construction is serving as the general contractor and will complete the work in the first quarter of 2026.

Project Worthmore Is Putting Down “Roots”

In 2021, Project Worthmore purchased the building that housed their administration offices to expand services with the creation of a new service center, “The Roots,” a hub for newcomers to gather, receive support, healthcare, and build community. Having the administration offices in the same building as the service center provides efficiencies.

The design by Quintessence Design Group renovates the Project Worthmore facility and adds an atrium. The redevelopment will enable Project Worthmore to offer new services and assist more people. A larger food pantry, as well as medical, mental health, and legal services, will be provided. Funding for the project includes donations and grants from the Colorado Health Foundation, the Gates Family Foundation, U.S. Congress, and the City of Aurora. A.D. Miller Construction Services will complete the work for the 2026 opening.
