Brinkman Acquires Marriott Brand Hotel in Parker

As part of their long-term investment strategy in Parker, real estate development and investment company, Brinkman, acquired a flagship hospitality asset last week. In partnership with Utah-based developer Colmena Group, the companies purchased the 66,641-square-foot SpringHill Suites by Marriott located off North Pine Lane and Silverado Drive. The upscale hotel has 108 guest rooms and features a breakfast dining area, 356 square feet of meeting space, an indoor pool, fitness center, lobby workstation, market pantry and guest laundry area.

The hotel was developed by 2 Combs Enterprises and built by Thomas Construction. Construction on the project was completed last month and the hotel will begin welcoming guests later this month.

The hotel is less than one mile from the E-470/Parker Road interchange making it well positioned in the southeast submarket of Metro Denver to capitalize on the ongoing growth and expansion of the area. Heading north on E-470 from the subject site, commuters have an advantageous route to the DIA, less than 30 miles away, and with the ability to bypass the majority of Denver traffic.

This strategic acquisition by Brinkman and Colmena will help fill a void of hospitality options along Twenty Mile Road in Parker where options are lacking despite increase in demand.

“This is [hopefully] just the start of our investment in Parker,” said Chief Development Officer of Brinkman Jay Hardy. “We’re attracted to the town’s charm and commitment to quality of life for their residents.” The company is evaluating additional opportunities in this market to further enhance its appeal as a meaningful place.

The hotel is managed by Denver-based Renascent Hospitality.
