The Buell Foundation, a Denver-based professional philanthropic organization supporting the positive development of children, has secured a new office lease at Cherry Tower, a 16-story, first-class office property located at 950 S Cherry Street in Glendale. This move ensures that the foundation’s team has a modern and efficient workspace to continue its vital philanthropic efforts across the state.

Bart Boranian Allen and Tanner Mason of Benchmark Commercial Real Estate represented Buell Foundation in the transaction.

After an extensive search for a location that aligns with the Buell Foundation’s operational needs and long-term vision, Cherry Tower was selected for its prime location, accessibility to Infinity Park, and ample amount of green space. The new space will provide a dynamic and collaborative environment for the foundation’s staff and partners.

“It’s been incredibly rewarding to help the Buell Foundation find a space that truly supports their mission and future growth; I’m proud to play a small part in the impact they are making in the Denver community,” said Bart Allen, senior associate at Benchmark Commercial Real Estate. “Cherry Tower offers an ideal blend of convenience, functionality, and professional amenities that will serve the Foundation well into the future.”

Tanner Mason, managing broker at Benchmark, added, “It was a privilege to work with the Buell’s team and ensure they secured the right location to continue their impactful work in Colorado communities. We look forward to seeing them thrive in their new space.”

Cherry Tower features an efficient 15,000-square-foot floor plate that provides ultimate flexibility in leasing from approximately 1,000 square feet to 15,000 square feet per floor. The property has an enclosed, 5-level parking garage with high parking ratios for ultimate tenant convenience. Goodman Realty Group invested over $1.5M in energy efficient LED lighting and DDC controls and life safety improvements. An on-site deli is also provided as a tenant amenity.

The Buell Foundation has been a vital part of the Denver community for many years ever since their founder, Temple Hoyne Buell, moved to Denver in 1921 with more than 300 Buell-designed buildings that are a part of Colorado’s architectural legacy.

Erica Fukuhara, vice president of operations, shared: “The Buell Foundation looks forward to moving to Cherry Tower this fall. We appreciate the expertise, collaborative approach, and professionalism of Bart and Tanner from Benchmark Commercial Real Estate in finding this space for our team. The central location of Cherry Tower combined with on-site and surrounding amenities provides an ideal environment for our staff to advance the Foundation’s mission.”
