The Denver Chapter of the Business Development Guild (BD Guild), an organization dedicated to building a bridge between business development and operations for companies serving the natural and built environments, will launch next month in the Mile High City. The Chapter will hold its Denver inaugural meet up on Thursday, February 6.
Founded in 2017 in Phoenix, The BD Guild offers tools, training, a certification and professional development for BD and operations professionals with collaboration being at the forefront. The organization believes that the building and design profession needs a platform, not only to lend a voice to the 17 million+ people in the United States with a business development title on LinkedIn, but also to offer a bridge to strengthen team communication and increase collective potential.
The Denver Chapter’s advisory board is led by Kimberly Werner, marketing director for Small Giants, and Joseph McGovern, managing principal of The McGovern Group. DLR Group, Hensel Phelps, and LMI360 are also supporting the Chapter in its launch.
Board members represent the interests of the BD Guild members and typically have a specified area of responsibility within the organization. As a committee, they determine strategic objectives, establish specific policies, ensure the availability of adequate financial resources, establish curriculum and secure instructors for the BD Guild Certification program, and much more.

Denver Inaugural Meeting
The Denver Chapter is dedicated to providing outstanding content at all of its meetings. On Thursday, February 6., wine, appetizers and a presentation by Danielle Feroleto, principal of Small Giants LLC — an award-winning, full-service marketing agency serving the CRE and AEC Industries — will kick off the launch.
John Beeble, a 35 year veteran of the commercial construction industry in Colorado, will also speak during the event. Beeble is founder and president of Beeble Company, LLC, providing consulting and real estate advisory services throughout the Western U.S.
