DENVER — A Denver property landed on COMMERCIALCafé’s list of the nation’s priciest apartment communities of 2017. The report includes both single-property and portfolio sales across the U.S.
The luxury 12-story, 218-unit Steele Creek apartments in the exclusive Cherry Creek neighborhood sold for $141.5 million back in October 2017 and landed at #40 on the list. BMC Investments sold the property to UDR.
Also, in a deal closed last June, Mapletree US Management — a leading real estate development, investment and capital management company headquartered in Singapore — acquired a cross-market multifamily portfolio that included properties in Colorado, for $1.6 billion – the second largest transaction of 2017.
