Choice Market Expands in Denver with Third Location at Parq on Speer

Choice Market – a forward-thinking convenience store concept – will be the first retailer to debut at Greystar’s Parq on Speer, Denver’s luxurious new 16-story mixed use community. Located in the city’s bustling Golden Triangle neighborhood at the corner of Speer Blvd. and Bannock St., the new community is situated on two acres, with completion slated for December 2019.

According to Mai Olaussen, director of development for Greystar, the arrival of Choice Market at Parq on Speer reflects consumers’ growing demand for a new kind of convenience store – with user-friendly technology, fresh produce and healthy food offerings – disrupting the industry norm. Slated to open in 2020, the new Parq on Speer location is the chain’s third Denver store.

“Choice Market will greatly enhance our residents’ and neighbors’ experience by offering fast and friendly service, delivery on demand, top-quality food and produce, and easy access to locally sourced foods,” said Olaussen. “Parq on Speer features more than 12,000 square feet of ground floor retail space, and we anticipate housing many more exciting retail concepts.”

Golden Triangle has some of the highest number of residential units in the city so naturally it was a great fit for our concept. Given this density, customers can expect a larger format Choice with expanded grocery offerings and a full-service cafe in partnership with Method Coffee Roasters,” said Founder and CEO Mike Fogarty. “We want this to be a home away from home and amenity for the entire Golden Triangle neighborhood.”

Located in the trendy Creative District just outside downtown Denver, Parq on Speer is owned and operated by affiliates of Greystar, a global leader in the investment, development and management of rental housing properties. Residences encompass studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans – townhomes and penthouse suites – with square footage spanning 545 to 3,517 square feet.

Choice Market currently has two other locations in Denver, one at 1770 N Broadway and another at 1015 Osage St.
