“We’re very excited to bring Collegiate Peaks Bank’s community banking philosophy to Boulder and beyond. It’s a market that we believe in and a community that we live in. We are excited to bring our brand to the market and are confident that we can carve out a niche with our high-touch bespoke approach to banking,” said Blessing, regional president for Collegiate Peaks Bank. “The Bank is committed to supporting and building a permanent home in Boulder County, and this is an important first step. Similar to our other markets, we intend to become a strong community partner, with a commitment to investing in and supporting the communities we serve. Our goal is to become a trusted local presence and a pillar of the community.”

Combined with the bank’s strong presence in Denver, Southern Colorado, Northern Colorado, and mountain communities, the Boulder LPO provides the opportunity to serve customers throughout much of the state. It also provides the bank with the opportunity to better familiarize itself with customer needs before opening a brick-and-mortar branch, a proven approach that has served customers well.

Blessing will be joined by two additional, experienced bankers, including longtime Boulder County resident and 20-year Boulder Banker Liles Lipe, who will serve as a senior vice president, commercial lender, and Julie Duran, a commercial portfolio manager.
