Confluent Development Elects New Members to Board of Directors and Advisory Board

Confluent Development, a national full-service real estate investment and development firm headquartered in Denver, has announced the election of John H. Myers of Forstmann & Company to its board of directors, and the appointment of Robert Ezer of Amica Senior Lifestyles to its advisory board. As Confluent welcomes the two new appointments, the real estate investment and development firm will draw upon the new board members’ breadth of experience and continue expanding upon its diverse portfolio to provide tailored real estate solutions.

“The introduction of these esteemed business icons to our board of directors and advisory board further enhances our boards’ depth with their wealth of investment and real estate expertise,” said Marshall Burton, president and CEO of Confluent Development. “From our project teams to our board members, Confluent brings together the best possible team to deliver superior real estate solutions with lasting impact. Thanks to their reputation, decades of experience and relationships, the addition of Myers and Ezer to our boards will provide us with valuable perspectives across our investment pursuits among all asset classes. As we continue to expand our reach across the nation, we look forward to harnessing their advice and insights into the strategic opportunities that lie ahead.”

Myers serves as a director of Investment Committee and managing partner of Forstmann & Company, a merchant bank whose goal is to identify and invest early in companies participating in large magnitudes of change. Prior, Myers completed 38 years of service at General Electric, retiring in 2006 as president and CEO of GE Asset Management (GEAM). At GEAM he was responsible for approximately $200 billion in assets under management for clients including GE’s pension funds, 401(k) plans, mutual funds and insurance companies as well as for more than 200 external institutional clients.

Ezer serves as CIO of Amica Senior Lifestyles, Canada’s leader in premium lifestyles for seniors. Ezer leads the investments and developments team to support Amica’s growth pipeline, drawing on 30 years of finance and investment experience, with 27 of them focused on the senior living industry. He is also on the executive board of the American Seniors Housing Association, a board member of the Amica Helping Hands Charity and a former board member of the National Investment Centre, the largest industry body.
