Taylor Kohrs, a Colorado-based general contractor for nearly 40 years, recently began construction of Farmhouse Villas, a 78-unit housing complex in Parker. The 13-acre space of native land is being developed into a market-rate rental complex that will include a clubhouse, swimming pool, carports, and additional shared common spaces.
The 78 units will be spread across 14 buildings and are comprised of 4-plex and 6-plex villa-style homes with garages that are prepped for EV Charging capabilities. To accommodate those that work from home, there are dual retreat floorplans that feature a walk-up loft and can double as an office.
The project, designed by Denver-based Godden|Sudik for Elkco Properties, a full-service real estate development, investment and asset management company, also includes grading, earthwork, utilities, and public utility coordination.
“This project comes at a time when so many in our community are seeking market-rate housing, and I’m glad Taylor Kohrs can help provide this option in Parker,” said Taylor Kohrs Project Manager TJ Cavarra.
Substantial completion is expected by late January 2023.
