Construction Underway on Lafayette Active Adult Community

Construction is underway on Lafayette’s newest affordable, 55+ active adult community, Traditions at Lafayette. Located at 2500 South Public Road, just behind the Good Samaritan Medical Center, the project is being developed by Inland Group.

Upon completion, the four-story, 127,000-square-foot building will include 133 units made up of studio, one- and two-bedroom layouts. Residents will enjoy common areas including a theater, library, card room and family dining area.

All units will target households with incomes at or below 60 percent of the area median income (AMI) for Boulder County.

Brinkman Construction is the general contractor and The Architects Office designed the project. Construction is on track to complete in July 2021.

Based in Spokane, Wash., Inland has grown a strong presence in the Colorado market over the past few years.  This marks their eighth project in the state with other communities located throughout the Front Range. Brinkman Construction has done the construction on five of these projects.

“Our partnership with Inland Group is one we deeply value. Their expertise in income- and age-restricted multi-family housing is unmatched,” noted Jim Ciesla, president and CEO of Brinkman Construction.
