Sustainable Design Build, a Denver-based full-service design-build company, is currently designing a new three-story multi-family apartment development at 2720 South Federal Blvd in Denver, for a local ownership group. Currently, the local company is traversing the City of Denver Planning and Development process. Building plans are scheduled to be submitted to Denver in the coming weeks in order to break ground in Q3 of 2021.

South Federal Flats, named after the road along which it will be constructed, is near the intersection of W Yale. This contemporary community will have 57 units in total, featuring 2 bedroom, 1 bedroom, and studio units. The Community will be located near the new Loretto Heights Campus and just a couple of blocks away from the West Harvard Gulch Bike Trail.

“Helping Denver grow in a sustainable manner is one of our company’s core values, so developing this project for an ownership group that has a strong desire to deliver new and additional housing options to Southwest Denver was really a win-win,” said Sustainable Design Build’s Owner and General Contractor, Zach McKendry. “We are truly excited to deliver new units to this area of the Denver market, which not only satisfies the need for more housing but also delivers a great portfolio addition to the investment group.”

Denver-based KSA Architecture LLC is the architect, Raptor Civil Engineering is the civil engineer, and Oxbow Design Collaborative is the landscape architect of record on this multi-family apartment development.
