Denver-based General Contractor to Deliver New Attainable Neighborhood in Boulder

As part of their commitment to affordable housing, Thistle, a Boulder based non-profit since 1986, is developing Velo Condos, a new neighborhood of 70 residences conveniently located in the Northeast area of Boulder. Locally owned and operated Denver area general contractor DIRC Homes is excited about this attainable new condo building. The first condos released will have one-bedroom units priced at $410,000 and 14 of the residences are permanently affordable, as required by the city of Boulder, and income restrictions will apply. The first homes will be ready in 2021.

Velo Condos is Thistle’s sixth mixed-income community, offering both permanently affordable and market rate ownership homes.

Featuring modern one, two and 3-bedrooms units, Velo Condos’ twelve unique floorplans range from 706 to 1,450 square feet plus five unique live-work units, each offering an additional 500 to 700 square feet of connected commercial workspace. Preliminary prices beginning at $410,000 for the 1-bedroom, 1-bath condos and $561,500 for the 2-bedroom, 2-bath condos. All condos come with private garages ranging from 1-car to 2-car tandems or with carports. Floor plans offer both 1-level & 2-story options with either private balconies or enclosed yards.
